Abstract

Technology is an integral part of our everyday lives and its developments affect the creation, reproduction and recording of music with direct consequences on music education. (Rondogianni, 2011). According to Finney & Burnard (2009), the challenge for music education teachers is to use these new technologies correctly.

Accepting the challenge mentioned by Finney & Burnard, this workshop will present various methods for teaching music with the use of an innovative music App, YouTube and social media platforms like TikTok, BeReal, Instagram etc.

Our aim is to modernize the methods we use in teaching music so that they pleasantly stimulate children's interest in learning music.
