Abstract |
Although Theatre is the Superlative narration of Life, the archetypal Art of nostos, nevertheless, Music signifies the universitality of Art wich serves and extols Human Word - Logos by surmounting it. The alluring conjunction of Music and Dramatic Art denotes the abrogation of the interval between Human and Divines, it abolishes Fear and leads towards an exquisite ennoblement through their insuperable pedagogic value and vigour. The sublime union of the Dionysiac Art and Music is profoundly beneficial, since through the ritual embellishment, the entraiing, the elision of rotation, the succession of the levels, the creative seduction between the divine and imaginative, the unforeseen flood of the Senses, Human identity is divulged and above all, deep, unconstrained Emotions are forged. Otherness that slight Divergence from the universe sculptures the course towards Self – knowledge and Divinity. Without the Ideological, Aesthetical and Sentimental World, without the transcendental content of myth, no community of citizens could substantially flourish. The qualitative, eclectic affinities of Music and Drama are outstandingly therapeutic, precious countenances of Human supremacy. Samuel Beckett glorifies theatre – writing and establishes it as an unequalled, poignantly compassionate Art inspired by Painting and Music- those are the sacred womb of His creation. The “Self – sarcasm – Αυτομεμψία of Art, the inwardness, the audacity of narration, the ingenuous exposure and divesting of selfness –εαυτότητα betray and conquer the entrapped Ego, carrying Human Existence along the Poetic Truth of the things. The Stage Life, bewitched, barmy by Music, endows inestimable loans leading to a superior level of Knowledge, at the cradle of the unfaltering values. The educator – animator, the participant of exuberance – μέθεξις is the father of instrumentation, the leader of a primordial sacred Act, the orator of an unprecedented ravishing and harmonious Language. Thus, notion suddenly obtain a new – born, unadulterated splendour. The engrossing mingling of Theatre and Music praise the predominance of Human Body, the elevation of the Soul, paradoxically, through their invincible, unfeigned rebeliousness Myths with its cosmogonic stoutness, dramatized, embellished,with Music accomplishes empathy, the cultivation of motor- sensory intelligence and the sense of an imperishable, hieratical Beauty. The present introduction aims at the investigation of innovative readings and approaches on Music and Theatre Education as the most prevalent and resplendent Cultural reflections of ideology and Aesthetics of the contemporary Society. In This World of inexorable alienation, the Art of Dionysus and Apollon at School and the Community rekindles and strengthens entombed Archetypes, redefines and vigoursly forges Human identity and finally educates unaccustomed Emotions, grinding oblivion –λήθη and the rigidity of memory Bearing always the divine dew of mythical contingencies, raged Bacchus and bewailing Orpheus are Our everlasting contemporaries beyond stereotypes and the infertile Age of Prudence. |
